From a technical standpoint, your drawings are very legible and it is obvious that you have spent considerable time in the field, understanding how a building comes together. It has been refreshing to work with someone in the design industry who comprehends the intricacies of construction, as well as form, beauty, and function.

This letter is for the purpose of relaying the experience I had working with Natalia Mattingly, as architect of a custom home I had built in Gold Canyon, AZ the last 2 years. I had initially chosen plans from a website, however the house did not fit on the lot, which is on the side of a hill. That experience alone was noteworthy as Natalia was very tactful in telling me this news. Given the nature of the lot, she persuaded me to start from scratch in order to create a home more appropriate for the lot. I gave her free reign as to the design, as this was to be a spec-home. She created an imaginative and beautiful layout that turned out quite striking. Natalia also worked with me quite a bit regarding budget, as the initial plans threw my plan out of kilter. Natalia was also quite easy to work with in communicating her ideas to me as well as the builder, the realtor, and the mortgage broker. I would certainly work with her again, should the need arise.
